Agility iMap 1.3 with Straight LinesI just got an update to Agility iMap 1.3 uploaded to Apple for review. Lots of exciting new features in this version including straight line drawing and 30 levels of undo/redo support. Here is the full list:

I made a short video showing some of the new features in Agility iMap 1.2, for example:

  • double tap obstacle to edit it
  • triple tap map to goto 4x zoom and back
  • the new Tunnel obstacle
  • the improved Tunnel obstacle
  • turn off/on the grid lines
  • obstacle numbers stay locked on for quick numbering of a course

Agility iMap 1.2 Released

iMap 1.2 is a huge update, here is a list of all the new features and improvements.

Eliminated delay when trying to move obstacles.

Greatly improved the original Tunnel obstacle.

Added new Tunnel obstacle with 2 control points (cubic bezier).

NEW! Triple Tap map to goto 4x zoom. (Double tap still goes to 2x)

NEW! Take picture of paper course map and recreate it in iMap.

NEW! Option to specify metric course in pick course size view.

Agility iMap HD 1.1

Agility iMap HD 1.1 has been released, it is updated to have all the new features that Agility iMap for the iPhone has:

Reworked the entire user interface.

Meters and Feet options now for course maps.

iMap 1.0 crash - how to fix

So there seems to be a bug in 1.0 of Agility iMap that the course library gets messed up and anytime you try to goto the library it crashes. There is a solution that enables you to keep all the iMaps you have created.

1) Use the tutorial posted here to copy off all you iMaps off you iPad.

2) Once you have copied your iMaps to your computer for safe keeping, delete all the iMaps on your iPad.

3) Fire up iMap and all should be working.
